Dear friends, Without a doubt this has been a difficult year for everyone, one of unexpected changes, of plans and goals that we might not accomplish, and one of much uncertainty for the near future. Perhaps at this point, starting the second half of this year we are tired physically, emotionally, and spiritually, but Jesus in Matthew 28:20 reminds us, "...And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” This is good news, we are not and will not be alone. As a ministry POINT Honduras is grateful to the Lord for his infinite faithfulness, he reminds us daily that he cares for us. In the midst of the pandemic he has kept us healthy, we have not stopped, and we are feeding almost 700 children from Monday to Friday. Our medical clinics continue to provide care and hope, and at a time when poverty and hunger increase in the city, the children enrolled in our program have had something to eat. In the last three months we have also been able to give 1400 bags of food to the families of our children who also received a nice face mask to protect themselves. We did this for the glory of God and we did it on behalf of you, your family, in the name of the churches, the name of the mission teams that wanted to come and serve with us this summer, because thanks to you and your donations we can continue to touch lives, we can reach the needy, the hungry, and the sick. With gratitude and a sincere smile they said thank you and God bless you. I want to send those same words to you who make the POINT Honduras ministry possible. Our clinics remain opened because Hondurans not only are fighting COVID-19 they are also fighting Dengue and other common illnesses. Our clinics are providing health relief to a population that otherwise wouldn't be able to
have quality health care.
A meal a day has been provided for our almost 700 children. Because of COVID-19 restrictions we are only allowed to prepare a to-go meal for them.
Last week we delivered our second food bag project. We donated 700 food
bags to the families of our children and face mask for all POINT children.
