Point Honduras operates two Community Education Centers (CEEPREB) located in San Juan and Las Mercedes.
These centers are certified programs recognized by the Honduran government and provide quality early education for children ages up to 5.

Point also equips each child with free uniforms, shoes, and school supplies, removing barriers to education and supporting their success.

Our team of qualified teachers is dedicated to preparing children for a smooth transition into 1st grade in Honduran schools.

Year after year, Point Honduras seeks to strenghten the academic deficiencies that children present in Spanish and Math through the School Tutoring Program.

From Monday to Friday children receive tutoring based on the National Basic Curriculum, helping them reinforce the knowledge acquired in their public schools. Facilitating a successful transition to the next grade.

Our dedicated tutors also make home visits to every child, allowing them to better understand each student’s learning environment and necessity to support them where they need it most.

School Tutoring

PROGRAM

In Honduras, over 1 million children aged 3 to 17, roughly 40% of all school-age kids are currently out of school.

Our Back to School program ensures that children enrolled in our centers return to or begin school ready by providing a backpack, school supplies, uniforms, and shoes, bringing relief to families' financial burden and actively reducing school dropout rates.
