Our Medical Clinics
In three of our centers, we host medical clinics, each serving as a vital lifeline for children and their families by providing essential primary health care. These clinics are managed by our dedicated team of medical professionals, including doctors and nurses.
All 820 of our students and their families receive completely free access to medical consultations and medications. Additionally, the clinics are open to members of the surrounding communities for a nominal fee, ensuring wider access to care.
With an average of 30 patients seen daily at each clinic, we are helping bridge the gap in healthcare access. Throughout 2024, our clinics collectively served 12,134 patients, offering consistent and much-needed relief.
Our Dental Clinic
In response to the great need for oral health access for our children, in November 2024 Point Honduras opened the first dental clinic at the Villanueva Center. This clinic is fully equipped thanks to inidividual donors, and will provide free dental care to all the children of the Point centers. For it´s inaguration, a dental brigade was carried out in November 2024.
Restoring Smiles Across Point Centers
This year 2025, we organized a fluoride application campaign across all four Point centers, completing a total of 774 applications. The activity was led by Dr. Josseline Galeas, who has also done an outstanding job restoring smiles through fillings, pit and fissure sealants, cleanings prior to sealants, extractions, and pulpotomies on primary teeth since the clinic’s opening in August 2024.
