#GivingTuesday is a global day of generosity and unity, a day to come together and give back. Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
Every year in Honduras, thousands of children drop out of school. This situation has been aggravated by the circumstances generated in Honduras by the COVID-19 pandemic, which registered 2 million children and young people as school dropouts. Honduran schools have been closed for the last two years. And as the plan is to re-open next year, wouldn't a backpack be an awesome gift for a child?
This November 30th is #GivingTuesday. This year we would like you to join our Backpack Program. With a donation of $50, you can help us provide a backpack, uniform, shoes, and supplies for a POINT child.

GIVE ONLINE: Please go to www.pointhonduras.org and click the “donate” in the upper right-hand corner. You can set up a recurring gift or a one-time donation. GIVE VIA CHECK: You may also send checks made out to Orphanos at their secure mailing address: PO Box 1057, Cordova, TN 38088-1057. Please add a note indicating it is for Point Honduras. SPONSOR A CHILD: For $45 monthly you can provide a child: tutoring, medical care, daily food nutrition, and, most importantly, learning and hearing about Jesus. Once you click on the "Sponsor Today" button in pointhonduras.org/sponsorship, you will be guided through prompts.
